We are a 21st Century New Testament Church. Our doors are open to everyone. We make every effort to be reconciling and inclusive fellowship of Christian believers welcoming ALL of God's children.
Our mission is to be a local spiritual community that is passionate in experiencing God and faithful in expressing God. We embrace the teachings of Jesus Christ and His apostles.

It matters not your age, race, nationality, gender, orientation, socioeconomic position, education nor your faith/church experience.

We welcome those who are seasoned in faith, new to the faith, in between or searching.
If you have experienced rejection, disillusionment, confusion, pain, loss of family, loss of love, loss of faith, please know you are not alone and you are welcome here.

If you are seeking new experience with Jesus Christ and want to be part of what He is doing in the church today, you've come to the right place. We are all striving for one thing: to see Jesus face to face one day and to be re-united with our loved ones who have gone before us. In the meantime, we endeavor to be a church community of hope for all families.

Makati City, Philippines

I was born on February 14, 1978 in the town of Burauen, Leyte Philippines. I am the eldest child of the two in my family. I finished a Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management at the Leyte University, Tacloban City, Philippines. I am currently working as a public-school teacher in Makati City, Philippines and taking a Masters in Industrial Education major in Hotel and Restaurant Management at the same time.

My father died when I was in the 6th grade. I was the first who became born again in the family. A few years after I got saved, my mother and sister became born again also. It was in 1993 when I got saved and baptized in water in Jesus name at the United Pentecostal Church (Oneness & Holiness) Church located in our town in Burauen, Leyte Philippines. I was in my 2nd year of High School at the time.

When the church was shaken and faced with a division among its members, I attended a Catholic Charismatic Movement and was involved in pulpit ministry until I finished college. After graduation, I became a member of a Spirit-filled, full gospel church but shortly after a couple of months, I moved to the capital of the Philippines – Manila. That was in 2001

While looking for a job, I tried to find a church where I could be fed spiritually and continue to walk in my journey with the Lord. I kept transferring from one church to another, from evangelical to charismatic churches, searching where I can be rooted and grounded in the Word. I served for years in some of the mega churches in Manila.

It was in 2012 when I decided to look for an LGBT affirming church in the Philippines. I wanted to be in a church where I don’t have to pretend to be who I am not. I wanted to be true to my sexuality and wanted to be in a church where I can worship and serve God just as I am. I found an LGBT affirming church in the Philippines and stayed there for more than a year, and was not satisfied with the kind of spiritual feeding that I was getting from that church. It was then that I knew that God was calling me to start an LGBT affirming church that is Spirit-Filled, Christ-Centered, Bible-based, and Evangelical/Pentecostal.
I started a small Bible study in 2014 right after leaving the LGBT Affirming church, I was attending. The attendees of that small group Bible study were mostly young people. The Bible study meetings were held at my house. Freedom In Christ Ministries officially opened as a church in September the following year right after we became affiliated with the Reconciling Pentecostals International.
