Mt. pisgah fellowship

Mission statement:
Acts 2:42 & Deut. 34:1
Mt. Pisgah is called to Proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the beliefs of the Apostolic Faith.  We will yield to the Winds of the Holy Ghost blowing through our midst, allowing it to change us into the image of Jesus Christ.  Thus making us into a loving people God would have wanted us to be.  We will maintain the Worship of God and to inspire in all persons a love for Jesus.  To have a passion for righteousness and to bring Jesus' Healing Love to hurting people.  To bring the joy of being a Christian to a lost world.  To bind up the broken hearted, to set free the captives, and to preach peace as Jesus did.  God has called us to courageously represent the Kingdom of God through Witness, Discipleship, and Service of others.  We take seriously the Scriptures, Prayer, and the Call to do Justice with Love and Mercy; to walk humbly before Christ.  God is preparing us through His Prophetic Preaching and Teachings to bring the Hope of the Gospel to our Community, and take every captive to Christ.  We are reaching out to the World, Preaching to the Unsaved, and Teaching the Saved to Serve.

Pastor: Rev. Michael Alford

Pastor Alford grew up in the gulf coast of southern Alabama & Mississippi.  He is a fifth generation Pentecostal. Graduated from Jackson college of ministries. Where he majored in music and theology.
He has been married to his husband for over 16 years and they currently are planning their new family through their surrogate.

With much prayer, God opened the door to move MPF out of our home & into a great temp building in Downtown Nashville.  Which helped us become more centrally located for Middle TN.  The OutCentral building held 125, Praise God!  We could only seat 5 in our living room, the Lord blessed us with 120 more chairs!  OutCentral was an amazing open minded Cultural Center!  They welcomed us with open hearts & minds!  We were home for the time being.  Yet, still wanted a Church building environment.

Our next place of worship started Oct. 2nd 2011 at the Hobson UMC Chapel!  Hobson was conveniently located at 1107 Chapel Ave in East Nashville, Tn. It was a wonderful home, but late in Dec 2012 the Church was sold.

Pastor Michael began praying through the vision and calling in 2009 for Mount Pisgah. The following year an online 24/7 prayer request line and the dot com. Mount Pisgah Fellowship now resides in the Goodlettsville area. We began meeting at our New Place of Worship on 1-6-13

Our Goal is to connect all God's children through the study of the Word.  We hope to bring people together for healthy Christian fellowship.  It is our desire to build a safety net for all Christians; even for those who are not yet "out".  We want to be a refuge for people who are searching for: Restoration, Security, Direction, Peace, and Encouragement.  To learn more about the Word of God and how to apply it to our everyday lives.
